Not where I thought I'd be, but exactly where I'm meant to be

The other day I was heading home and my GPS took me down a new route. I had no idea where I was until suddenly I looked out my window and saw a park I used to go to as a kid. I slowed down as I passed by and a memory flashed through my mind. Me and my sister on the swings and my mom rollerblading on the path that surrounds the park. For a moment I felt like I was on the swings as a child watching my older self drive by in my truck with the dog we always wanted in the backseat.

Then I kept driving with the biggest smile on my face as I passed the old dance studio I used to go to, the little storefront that used to be my aunt’s cafe, the building that once was our grocery store and is now a library, and the duplex we used to live in with the willow tree out front. I followed that road for a few more miles, took a couple left turns and parked outside of the camper I now live in. If you had told me a few years ago that this is where I’d be in life right now… my eyes would probably widen, my jaw might drop a bit… but honestly, I wouldn’t be all that surprised. Life is just one big adventure, and I’ve truly always hoped mine would be quite a story to tell when it’s all said and done.

Hey there, I'm Josie!

I'm just a woman with too many hobbies, trying to make a living from them. If you can relate, you're in the right place. I'm a foodie who loves a full bookshelf and quoting movies. Think of this as a kitchen table conversation about building a creative life. My goal is to show you how creativity, work, and real life can coexist, without burning out or pretending it’s effortless.

My Motto

Your success is inevitable if you stay in the room
